An open and inclusive festival to celebrate the Ocean Beach water and surfing community in all its forms.

During the day, Stokefest will be held on the Great Highway. Activities include: live music from local bands, raffles with prizes from local shapers and surf shops, a community art project exhibition, free board swap, and more. Community based organizations around the Sunset and beyond will be invited to table the event.

At dusk, after sunset, a Stokefest film will be projected on the dunes. The Stokefest film (directed by local filmmaker Josh Berry) will include footage from Nick Levi, Gillian Stargensky, Sachi Cunningham, MeWater, City Surf, Western Neighborhoods Project, and footage taken at Ocean Beach. After the live projection of the film at the event, it will be published online shortly after the event.

Foster community and inclusivity in the local surf and westside cultural scene. Encourage responsibility for the beach, dunes, and accessibility to the ocean.
